Ni No Kuni 2's deuteragonist. Described as a cool-headed, sensible, and oftentimes stubborn man, Roland acts as King Evan's friend and closest confidante. His trademark attitude is one of a strong sense of justice, fueled by a compassion to serve others. Despite his unique life story between his time as the head of state in the First World (an alternate Earth where he is President of the United States) and his new role in the Second, he hides it behind a composed façade that many find mysterious - or irritating, depending on who you ask. Ever-reliable, Roland is the guy to run to for help, no matter the circumstance. Though for some reason, his dashing, youthful looks don't quite match his incredibly mature way of looking at things...
